With 205 km of metro lines and 72 new stations, Grand Paris project aims to turn the French capital into a major international metropolis. This new network will very significantly increase the size of the metro-type public transport network in the Ile de France region.
Line 15, known as the Red Line, will be a totally underground metro running throughout the Grand Paris metropolis. With a length of 100 km of double tracks, serving some forty stations, it will be fully automated without drivers.
Within this framework, GESTE Engineering has been entrusted with the realization of part of the project management of the Driving Automation and more particularly of the Centralized Control during the Preliminary Design phase, as well as a mission of assistance to the project manager in the management of the interfaces.
GESTE Engineering is also involved in ventilation studies (aeraulic simulations, station fire simulations...) on sections of the red line and the orange line.
